Thinking Globally ... Acting Locally

The 2009 Norway Day Festival is coming together. We are building our slate of entertainment, building connections to sponsors, and building the 2009 Festival around "Thinking Globally ... Acting Locally ".

As co-Presidents, Stein Ove Sandvik and Ty Swanson have graduated to this role after years with the festival. While we are greatful to the previous years teams, we think the May 2nd and 3rd, 2009 festival will be the best yet.

Thinking Globally ... Acting Locally is a fundamental part of the Norway Day Festival Culture, it finds meaning with the current topics regarding the Human Footprint and it brings together very interesting discussions on how all of these work together from the Norwegian Perspective.

Get ready for the 16th Annual Norway Day Festival, 2009.

2009 Dates are Set

Mark your calanders for May 2nd and 3th, 2009. The Norway Day Festival is set to return to Ft. Mason's Herbst Pavilion in San Francisco. We are looking for energetic individuals that would like to join our planning team.
