The Norway Day Festival and Norsk Ukeblad, one of Norway’s most popular weekly magazines, are proud to announce a once-in-a-lifetime cultural event at the 2010 Norway Day Festival.
The festival and the magazine held a contest in Norway to find a couple to share the most important day of their lives – their wedding – at the Norway Day Festival.
After people all across Norway voted via text message, readers of Norsk Ukeblad chose Aidi Kongo and Torstein Mikal Bratland. They received an all-expense paid trip to San Francisco to be wed at the Norway Day Festival on Sunday, May 2.
This traditional Norwegian wedding will take place on the main stage at the festival. Both the bride and groom will be in bunads – the traditional Norwegian costumes.
The lucky couple is also receiving an all-expense paid honeymoon, including air and five nights hotel in Hawaii.
Don’t miss this traditional Norwegian wedding on Sunday, May 2 at 11 a.m.
