Norwegian Men's Choir
Saturday on Main Stage (11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.)

This male chorus group, a compilation of three local choirs, got its start over 75 years ago by a group of Norwegian settlers in the Bay Area.

The singers perform Scandinavian music to continue the Norwegian traditions of singing together and caring for the elderly. The choirs perform in concerts, at cultural events, in churches and in homes for the elderly.

As a member of the Pacific Coast Norwegian Singers Association, they have toured Norway several times. At Norway Day, the singers will perform popular and traditional Norwegian songs. Members of the chorus need not be Norwegian or Scandinavian and new members are welcome.

Three groups make up this unique choir:

1.) Normanna Glee Club of Oakland
2.) Norwegian Singing Society
of San Francisco
3.) Sacramento Nordik Sangkor
